Homework1 - McBush, 95132013

The first homework of this Interactive Media class was so fun and am so eager to learn more about the geometric painting and processing.

After searching through the geometric painting in the google, I chose my favorite picture as can be seen below:

Then I simulated the above picture using the painting tool in windows. I tried to make the exact copy of the original picture but the lines were a bit thin as can be seen from the picture below.

Finally, I used a processing program to simulate the original and the one designed with a painting tool. The processing program was so interesting to work with because there are a lot of functions which are really useful to design better geometric paintings. I used the functions such line, background, strokeWeight and color. The image can be demonstrated below.

However, working with the 'Processing Program' is a new challenge for me and it drives my attention to learn more about how to design proper images or pictures. I faced a lot of challenges at the beginning because finding the perfect functions such as background, colors, size, and many other functions require skills and practice.

Overally, I did enjoy the first class and hope to learn more about PROCESSING.
