course review

In the interactive media’s class, I learned many things I never use before; using processing can easy to write simple program (compare with java and C language) and how to connect program with hardware which is really new for me. Arduino is also newfangled for me. Before this course, we just learned how to use IC-chip with bread board, never combine software and hardware.

I think my favorite homework is our final project, even though that is really ‘troublesome’ for me. Our project name is paper scissors stone Pro. Most difficult thing in this project is I need consider every result when I design it. But compare with Java, it is simple than it. And then, we design the buttons with arduino board, which is very interesting, even though sometimes the arduino were under control.

I hope we should have more time on this course, because learning processing and arduino in one semester is too compact, so that many things we are not learn very clearly. Maybe I can buy one arduino board in future that I can design the new program when we have idea. Arduino is really useful for us. Thanks teacher for this semester’s teaching and you always kind when we are asking boring question!

Trust me, hw7-1 and hw7-2 is different!

In this class, we learned how to spin the square (not only square, for all of geometric figures), the most important element is "rotate"! Hw7-2 is show how to let three "squares" spin like a fan. Our exam is also like this, I feel a little complicated in this part....

In this class, we learned about some kind of "special efficacy". For example like how to move the picture and how to make it fade in and out. It is really interesting.

In this homework, we learned how to use processing to design a program to check pictures where you already safe in the file, and then you can combine two picture in the same place, it is really fun!
I start to feel this course is difficult than before, I think I need do the case more hard now!

In this weekend, we have done the paint board which was we not finish on last week. And I also learning the new function "safe", that can safe our image when we finish the picture.
We have learned other function which is likes combine two picture in the same space, you can use that to combine two your favorite pictures!

HW 3-1 is amazing! Because I can control the picture with my mouse, the small circle which can following cursor to move! I also look forward to HW 3-2, which is like a paint place let you can draw whatever you want in that program!

In this class, I really love the "random" function, because you can not absolutely what shape and color you would see at next time. And I think the HW4 is become a little complex, which is start to using for loop to draw the picture, I believe next time I can do better than this homework!

Processing, I think I have a lot of thing need to learn,not only draw the simple picture, but also some professional pictures! It is really interesting.
